Alexander Outpoints Kotelnik
Devon Alexander retained his light welterweight titles via a close points decision in front of his hometown in St Louis.
Whilst Alexander went into an early points lead Kotelnik made adjustments and started to claw back rounds as the fight progressed. Both fighters knew they'd been in a tough battle at the end and Kotelnik felt he'd done enough to win.
It was indeed close but the majority of observers felt Alexander had done enough to retain in a closely matched fight.
