Macklin Stuns Asikainen!
Matthew Macklin scored a stunning 1st round KO victory over Finland's Amin Asikainen to win the European middleweight title. Macklin looked confident from the start and suddenly exploded with a huge left hook just a minute and a half into the 1st round. The Finn hit the canvas hard and he was up on very shaky legs and looking very disorientated. (More)
Klitschko and Arreola Ready To Go!
Vitali Klitschko and Chris Arreola both weighed in today at The Staples Centre, LA and are both in the mood for a war.
Vitali weighed in at 18st (252lbs) and Arreola 17st 13lbs (251lbs). As always Vitali looked in excellent shape and as usual Arreola looked fleshy around the midriff.

Mayweather Outpoints Marquez
Floyd Mayweather Jnr won a unanimous points decision over Juan Manuel Marquez in a catchweight contest in Las Vegas. Mayweather was at his best and showed an excellent defence, with Marquez lacking the size or speed to catch up with Floyd. (More)
Controversial Decision As Fury Given Verdict Over McDermott
There was huge controversy in Brentwood as Tyson Fury was given a wide verdict by referee Terry O'Connor. Nearly everyone had McDermott the winner and surely a rematch must be ordered. (More)

Clinton Woods has today announced his retirement from boxing after a highly distinguished career. He has decided to call time on his 15 year career in which he won British, Commonwealth, European and World titles. (More)
