Cotto Is Back!

Miguel Cotto got his career back on track at light middleweight by beating Yuri Foreman for the WBA title via 9th round TKO.

Yuri hurt his knee in the 7th and behind on points with little chance of winning his corner threw in the towel. The referee did not accept this. He asked Foreman if he wanted to continue and the fighter replied "Yes".

Foreman was clearly struggling and Cotto smelt blood. In the 9th Foreman went down from a body shot with the knee also troubling him and at this point the ref jumped in to halt the fight.

Miguel may still be young enough to be a major force despite the big setbacks against Margarito and Pacquaio. A Margarito rematch would be a good match-up.
