Super Six Line Up

Ali v Liston 2

Countdown to the Super Six

Not long to go now until the start of the much anticipated Super Six tournament in which the best 6 super middleweights in the world fight each other.

The tournament kicks off on Saturday October 17th when Carl Froch fights Andre Dirrell, defending the WBC title and also Athur Abraham fights Jermain Taylor. The next fight is Mikkel Kessler against Andre Ward.

Froch will be the favourite defending in front of his home crowd in Nottingham and Abraham is also the betting favourite fighting Taylor in Berlin.

Kessler is the tournament favourite at the moment but Andre Ward is unbeaten and has excellent skills. All of these match-ups are excellent and it really is hard to pick a winner at this stage. You could make a case for almost any of them to win.
