David and Goliath Weigh In

 

David Haye weighed in at 15st 8lbs and Valuev at 22st 8lbs for tonights WBA World Heavyweight Title Fight in Nurenburg, Germany.

Haye looked in fantastic shape at the weigh-in and Valuev weighed in at his lightest ever but still over 22 stone.

It's a fight that have the experts, the media and the fans split. Many people feel that Valuev is simply too big and strong but lots of people also think that Haye has the speed, skills and punching power to pull off a historic win.

Either way it has the potential to be an enthralling fight and in the UK it's being shown on Sky Box Office.

Haye says he's going in there looking to knock the giant out but Valuev has never even been wobbled, let alone floored. Haye can certainly punch but can he hurt Valuev?

I think it could be a mistake for Haye to go looking for a knockout. I think he should look to dazzle and outspeed. It should be exciting!

Here's some Sky footage of the weigh-in. Unfortunately they got the weight conversion incorrect and Haye was 15st 8lbs, not 16st 6lbs.
