Green KO Controversy

Danny Green knocked out Paul Briggs in the 1st round with what appeared to be a glancing jab, causing controversy and outrage in Perth, Australia.

With almost the first punch thrown down went Paul Briggs, unable to beat the 10 count. Green was furious and felt that Briggs could have got up and perhaps shouldn't have gone down.

However, upon watching the slow motion replay a few times I felt that Briggs was genuinely hurt and was simply unable to rise. He moved forwards into the jab and I feel he was caught cold. It showed a poor chin but I don't think he threw the fight.
